Pre-Vacation Outfits

Since I only have a few photos of each of these outfits, and none of them are spectacular, I decided to just combine them. I got a bit behind, since I was gone for nearly two weeks. Also, good news! As of today, I am an official Starbucks employee :) That unfortunately means less outfits, but also more money! I am happy to be employed, especially at a place that I already frequently visit.

I wore this out to dinner with my mom the night before I left for Cape Cod. We ate at Table 2, a nice restaurant downtown, and it was absolutely delicious.

Pearls and Bows

I did a few of my favorite things this past week, all in one day. My mom and I ate at a new Mediterranean restaurant downtown, and then sat outside at Starbucks and sipped yummy drinks. It was quite nice. I always love going to dinner or brunch with my mom, I'm a total Starbucks fangirl, and sitting outside in the summer evening is just divine. I really wish summer was year-round. I know many people don't share that sentiment with me, but I am a true Southern Belle!

purple pants! (finally)

I've been talking about these pants for weeks, and I finally wore them. I went on a girly date with my mom and friend Ashley, and picked up an application to MAC (my dream job). I'm not sure if I'll have the opportunity to work with them just yet, but I might be getting a job at a different makeup counter (more on that later!)

Beale Street Music Festival

I made a rather questionable decision when I agreed to go to a music festival 5 hours from my home, the weekend before my final exam. The first 2 days of the fest were okay, but the last was torturous. I couldn't study, as I had no books or internet access, and I was stuck alone at a festival while the people I was with went to see a band I don't like. We didn't get home until 4 AM, so I got 2 hours of sleep before my final. Like I said, bad judgement call on my part! Anyway, here's what I wore.

As you can see, this post is the outfit and makeup I'm currently using for my new header :) My boyfriend got some new lighting equipment for his studio, so he took some photos of me. I think I get the most compliments when I do my eyes like this, for some reason. I guess because it's loud! Maybe someone will like it enough to let me do theirs, now that I've graduated Aesthetics school :)

Here is yet another example of me wearing similar clothes a few days in a row. I am not exactly sure why I do this, but it's completely unconscious and quite funny! This outfit felt very Parisian to me, which I love. I didn't wear it for long though, because Chelsea finally did my hair :)

roomie birthday date

I went to see Red Riding Hood, dinner at Mellow Mushroom, and out for drinks with my roommate for her birthday this past weekend. We were celebrating a few days late, and we had lots of strange complications that night, but we ended up having fun! I am usually the designated driver since I don't drink, but I can't drive a manual so a couple of our guy friends had to team up to drive us home! It was quite the adventure.
