Another Mom Date Day

I had another nice day with my mom this past weekend. We went to brunch at our favorite spot, Easy Bistro, and to Starbucks and TJMaxx. I'll be having another day like this tomorrow, with my friends & mom, followed by True Blood! Sounds great to me!

Sunshine

I felt like I dressed like a ray of sun this day, even though I didn't feel like it. My life as of late has consisted of lots of boredom, since I can't seem to find a job in my field. All of my friends and boyfriend have jobs, so I spent quite a bit of time alone. It makes me sad, but I am trying to be optimistic that I'll get a great job opportunity soon. On this particular day, my boyfriend and I spent the day with a friend and went to a random pool. You'd think that would be exciting, but it really wasn't...haha. At least I was with my sweet Jason :)

Speaking of Starbucks, I just gave in and applied there today. heck, if I can't find a job in makeup, I might as well work somewhere that I love! Wish me luck!

Father's Day

I decided to dress in a cheerful yellow for Father's Day this year. Yellow from head to toe, even my eyes! I had dinner with my dad (of course), half brother, and grandfather. We ate at a hibachi restaurant, which usually I don't prefer, but at least they didn't throw egg down my dress again. Gross.

memorial day

For Memorial Day, my roommate and I went up to my dad's lake house for boating and sun. We ate delicious ice cream on the way up there, laid in the sun, had barbecue for dinner, and then a fun pontoon boat ride and swimming. I wish it was summer all the time!

dunlap trip

I went with my boyf to visit his best friend and his family in Dunlap, about 40 minutes from where we live. Dunlap is just gorgeous, but there's not much to do if you live there. We had a great time though, I played with animals and we ate yummy grilled food!

As you can see, this post is the outfit and makeup I'm currently using for my new header :) My boyfriend got some new lighting equipment for his studio, so he took some photos of me. I think I get the most compliments when I do my eyes like this, for some reason. I guess because it's loud! Maybe someone will like it enough to let me do theirs, now that I've graduated Aesthetics school :)

Friday was heart health awareness day, and what do you know? I DIDN'T WEAR RED! :( Very strange, because red is not only my favorite color, but the most prevalent color in my wardrobe. And I even wore it the day before, for Chinese New Year! Oh, well. I will remember next year!
