"Sexy Coal Miner"

I don't normally wear this style of clothing, as I am usually a dresses and ruffles type of girl. I wanted to try something different, and I couldn't resist this romper/overalls combo! My friend Simone dubbed this outfit as "sexy coal miner" hahahaha. I thought it was a perfect description, and it reminded me of when he works in the coal mind in Zoolander! I want to get lots more wear out of these boots, and I need inspiration. Any suggestions, lovelies? <3

My boyfriend and I went to dinner at our favorite Thai restaurant for our friend Kate and Scott's going away party. They are moving away for the summer, but we might get to go visit them, which will be awesome! I'm in another color phase, apparently brown now. But this is my favorite outfit of the brown phase so far!

Beale Street Music Festival

I made a rather questionable decision when I agreed to go to a music festival 5 hours from my home, the weekend before my final exam. The first 2 days of the fest were okay, but the last was torturous. I couldn't study, as I had no books or internet access, and I was stuck alone at a festival while the people I was with went to see a band I don't like. We didn't get home until 4 AM, so I got 2 hours of sleep before my final. Like I said, bad judgement call on my part! Anyway, here's what I wore.

There are no pictures from the last day because I sat in a tent, alone, and was in a terrible mood. Haha.

date night

My boyfriend's mom generously gave us some restaurant gift cards, so we were able to go out to dinner. We are often so broke that we can't do this, so we were quite happy. Unfortunately, we lost the one to Outback :( So sad.
